Assault APR-39- Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Operational Flight Program (OFP) for the AN/APR-39D(V)2 Radar Signal Detecting Set

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to issue a new delivery order to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) to modify the AN/APR-39D(V)2 for which NGSC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The order aims to support programmatic, engineering, and technical tasks to modify the OFP to an FMS-exportable configuration to be used with the AN/APR-39D(V)2 Radar Signal Detection Set (RSDS).

The tasks shall include development and implementation of the APR-39D(V)2 FMS Processor configuration (Part Number 001-008696-0305) System Trouble Reports (STR). All updates on this order shall be developed and implemented in a way that enables future FMS OFPs to have equivalent or increased functionality.

This effort is being solicited on a sole source basis to Northrup Grumman System Corporation (NGSC) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
