Large Businesses, please use the regular link within the MDM site to register if you have not already registered to attend. Marine Corps Enterprise Level Contracting offices host this event quarterly to further communication with industry on current and future requirements to meet the intent of the Deputy Secretary of Defense’s direction to engage with industry to “harness and protect the National Security Innovation Base as well as modernize key capabilities.” Through this engagement, our goal is to assist us in yielding the most innovative solutions and the best value for the Marine Corps at the Enterprise level.
In addition, the Small Business Offices(SBO) from Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) and Installations & Logistics (I&L) will be in attendance and speak at the event. The Contracting and Small Business Offices (SBO) offer a forecast of upcoming solicitations to the defense industrial base to include small businesses. Briefings include a synopsis of the acquisition, acquisition strategy (including possible set-aside), solicitation release date, and closing date.
We also provide the contracting point of contact and email address if the companies have any questions after the conclusion of the event. Not only are we increasing competition through communication at this MDM Marine Corps Contracts / Small Business Industry Day?event we are giving small businesses a chance to see upcoming opportunities far enough in advance to be more competitive with the proposals. We are hoping that these events will bolster Marine Corps Enterprise-wide small business goal numbers.
