NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to JWC Environmental Inc., 2850 S. Red Hill Ave., Suite 125 Santa Ana, CA 92705 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source reasonably available. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. This request is for the purchase of two (2) JWC Wash Press Assemblies (Part Number: MWA001-9042-SU), 316 stainless steel drive, manufactured by JWC Environmental/ Muffin Monster.

The pumps will be used as part of a solid waste removal system to remove debris at high flow sewer lift stations to prevent clogging and damage to the submersible sewage discharge pumps. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement.
