Reconversion of Industrial Centrifuges

Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installation East (MCIEAST) Contracting Office, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Glassline Corporation, located at 28905 Glenwood Road, Perrysburg, OH 43552, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source reasonably available as the original equipment manufacturer. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. Requirement is for the reconfiguration of two (2) industrial centrifuges, which were manufactured by North Star Engineered Products.

The requested service must be completed by North Star Engineered Products to maintain the current warranty, and for fire and explosive safety purposes. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses must be received at the Contracting Office no later than 8:00 AM EST, 1 July 2024, via email.

Interested firms bear the burden of ensuring that the information reaches the designated Contract Specialist on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed.

All pages of the transmission must reach the office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The interested firm bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile or electronic mail transmissions and should confirm by email that any information submitted was received.
