Catholic Coordinator of Religious Education

The Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE), under the supervision of the assigned contract priest (ACP) or active-duty priest (ADP), shall assist the Director, Religious Ministries Directorate (Director RMD) in the coordination of all Catholic programs, religious education, events and activities in accordance with the guidance set forth by the Navy Chaplain Corps and the Archdiocese of the Military Services (AMS) (http://www.milarch.org).

The CRE is responsible for scheduling Catholic Masses and managing the schedules of the priest to conduct Mass in the absence of an assigned Priest. This work requires services outside the regular workday hours, which on occasion will require evening, weekend, and holiday work. Telework will only be authorized per direction of Director RMD.
