Nametape Creation and Sewing for coveralls

The government has a requirement on Camp Lejeune, NC for making and sewing nametapes onto coveralls. It would consist of the coveralls being delivered to the vendor, the vendor then makes the nametapes and sews them on the coveralls, then notifies the customer that they can pick them up. The customer will provide the vendor with a list of the names to be put on each nametape. There are tops and bottoms for each coverall, so it would involve making and sewing on two nametapes for each pair of coveralls.

This would be a contract for repeated supplies over the next year for an estimated 1000 nametapes. The nametapes will be made from the same material as the Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform. This sources sought notice is for INFORMATIONAL purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or quotes. This notice is intended to identify potential sources capable of providing the required supllies, and their corresponding business size. No contract will be awarded based on responses to this notice.

Responses to this notice will be used solely for market research and planning purposes, and no response will be returned. The applicable NAICS code is 314999, All other Miscellaneous Textile Product Mills. The small business size standard is 550 emplyees. To assist in determining the availability of sources, interested vendors shall provide the following information:

1. Company name, address, and point of contact (including phone number and email).

2. Cage Code and Unique Entity Identifier (UEID). Cage Code and UIED must be registered on the Systems for Award Management (https://www.sam.gov).

3. A brief description of the company’s capabilities in provideing the required supplies.

4. Company’s size classification under NAICS 314999. If the size classification is small, indicate of the company is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, HubZone certified, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned certified, Woman Owned Small Business certified, or Small Disadvantaged Business certified.

5. If supply as been provided on any relevant federal government contracts. If so, provide the Agency Name, Point of Contact, and contract number(s).
