Questions Timeframe has CLOSED! The government has heard industries questions and we are pleased to distribute the following with ALL interested parties:

Start of Q&A: Q1) Is industry able to see the Bus Graphic(s) Design/dimensions?

Answer: Please see the new attachments as they include real world pictures of busses as well as a diagram with measurements. Q2) In regards to the dimensions of the MCI 4500E Charter Bus solicitation, are those dimensions specifically for the entire bus including the roof, on one side of the bus, or for both sides of the bus with or without the covering of the roof of the bus? Also, are there any graphics that need to be removed from any of the three buses that will be wrapped?

Answer: The dimensions are for the entire bus. The top will be wrapped as well. All buses are new and have no previous graphics on them. Q3) Do you have measurements and pictures of the bus for this solicitation? Understand these vehicles are new, do you know if there are any decals or protective insect covering on the front of the vehicles.

Answer: L (45’70”), W (102”), H(141.75”); There are no decals or protective insect coverings on the front of the vehicle. Q4) Does the wrap need to be 3M? We have another vinyl that is equal in specs and durability. We can provide all of the paperwork on the suggested vinyl.

Answer: We are requesting 3M, but if specs and durability are similar and has UV protection we are willing to look into another vinyl. Q5) Will the wrap include the roof?

Answer: Yes, the wrap will include the roof. Q6) Will the print designs be on the computer, or will we have to physically pick them up or FedEX them?

Answer: Upon Award, we will send the High res files by link for the artwork. A Low res image has been provided in the additional attachments within this solicitation. Q7) Is there any wrap that needs to be taken off before installing the new wrap?

Answer: No, as these buses are brand new Q8) Will there be a dedicated driver for the bus?

Answer: The buses do not have dedicated drivers; The drivers change each day. The government will assign a driver for drop off within the requested thirty (30) mile radius of MBW to whatever location is chosen by the awardee.

NOTE: *In order to be chosen for Award, the vendor must be able to facilitate this work to be done within 30 miles per the solicitation* Q9) Do we own the rights to the artwork?

Answer: The artwork belongs to the United States Marine Corps. End of Q&A.

Marine Barracks Washington requires printing and installation of a previously designed bus wrapping/vinyl for Marine Barracks Washington’s (3) MCI J4500E Electric Coach Buses. Refer to the attached documents for the full list of supplies and services requested as well as further details, instructions and mandatory elements pertaining to this opportunity. The action resulting from this opportunity will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order. Quoter/Offerors must specify the soonest possible delivery date for a TOTAL COMPLETION of the specified work as well as the country of origin.
