Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Contract to AAR MOBILITY SYSTEMS

This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price FFP contract using FAR Part 12 and Part 13 procedures. Supply needed: parts for LD2 Cargo Boxes (also called ISU 50.5). List of parts see attached document. The Government intends to award on a Sole Source basis to:

AAR MOBILITY SYSTEMS, 201 Haynes Street, Cadillac, Michigan 49601 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. The reason for this Sole Source Award Intent is that AAR MOBILITY SYSTEMS is the OEM and the only authorized seller for LD2 Cargo Boxes parts. All interested and/or responsible sources who are interest for this requirement must email an estimate to the Contract Specialist, Sgt Jacie Liu, by 14 August 2024, 11:00 AM Eastern Time.
