THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE is being issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). NSWCPD intends to request on a sole-source basis Commercially-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) material from Rhinestahl CTS for LM2500 thick flange exhaust nozzle to support new engine configuration testing. This material being requested is to be fulfilled by Rhinestahl on the basis that Rhinestahl is the sole designer and fabricator of this thick flange exhaust nozzle and is the only contractor with the complete technical data and material required to furnish this critical component. The item being purchased is as follows:
Nozzle, PN 1C8105P05, qty. 1 This posting is intended as a market research tool being used to determine potential firms capable of providing the supplies described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition. Response to this request does not constitute a contract with the Government and is intended for informational purposes only. Interested firms shall provide a capabilities statement detailing their ability to meet the requirement inclusive of the firm's name, business size and NAICs code.
All responses must be sent to Karen Johnson, karen.g.johnson17.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 4:00 PM on 13 June 2024, with the subject line “RFI for LM2500 Thick Flange Exhaust Nozzle.” Responses received by any form other than by email or those provided after the response date will not be accepted.
