FURNISHED DWELLING UNITS FOR UNACCOMPANIED TRANSIENT MILITARY PERSONNEL IN GROTON, CT

United States Navy (USN) seeks to lease fully furnished apartments under the authority of 10 USC 8772 to house unaccompanied transient military personnel assigned to the Columbia Program Office, PMS 397 based out of General Dynamics, Electric Boat, Groton, Connecticut for various periods of time. This solicitation is intended to meet the various unaccompanied housing requirements in or near the Groton, Connecticut area for a two year period.

All offerors whose proposals are technically acceptable will be sent award letters following the close of the solicitation. As further requirements develop for the following time period, requests for availability will be sent to all awarded offerors, and leases will be awarded starting with the lowest price offeror, and continuing to the next lowest price offeror until the requirement is fulfilled. Occupancy will begin after leases are awarded and executed.

Initial occupancy dates are estimated to begin on December 1, 2024, then further units may be leased for various occupancy dates for an additional 2 years (December 1, 2024 thru December 1, 2026). The total requirement is housing for up to 30 personnel at any one time. The initial request for apartments shall begin on December 1, 2024 for 6 personnel, consisting of up to 4 units.
