Library of Congress Collections Metadata Exchange (CME) Support for Library Collections Access Platform (LCAP) (24-25)

The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the Library of Congress awarded contract GS-35F-0579T - LCCIO24F0036 to 22nd Century Technologies Inc for the Collections Metadata Exchange (CME) Support for LCAP (24-25) on July 16th, 2024, for a total of $218,937.60.

The LOC was issued this contract utilizing a Justification and Approval (see attachments section) for Fair Opportunity Exception using FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C) as justification since 22nd Century Technologies is on GSA. “In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original order that was placed competitively among GSA schedule-holders (i.e., the original order was not sole-source or limited-source.)” The contract LCCIO23F0058 was previously solicited under RFQ 030ADV23Q0129 and was fully competed among three GSA schedule holders under the Schedule Identification Number (SIN) 54151S- IT Technical Services.
