Sources Sought for KC-46 Inlet Cover and Exhaust Plugs at Altus AFB, OK. Description THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE IS NOT A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This is a Sources Sought Notice in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3 - Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes is for informational/market research purposes only.

This solicitation is issued for the purposes of acquiring capability statements from all qualified and interested parties that can provide KC-46 Inlet Covers and Exhaust Plugs that meet or exceed the salient characteristics requested. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 336413 and the size standard is 1250 Employees. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future.

This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking quotes and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The notice respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice; all costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party’s expense.

Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The 97th Contracting Squadron will execute the contract for Altus AFB, Oklahoma that will procure the requested items that meet the customers requested characteristics, specifically:

1. Must Fit PW 4062 engine, and have Cold Weather Ops, w/ heater hose access.

2. Must be able imprint custom artwork.

3. Must have Bypass Vent & Turbine Exhaust Plugs, PW 4062 (set of 6) 4. Must have Storage Bag for Bypass Vent and Turbine Exhaust plug. 5. Covers Must Be Made of Heavy-Duty Vinyl in Black Color. 6. Cover Must be able to withstand Strong Winds Gusts up 60 Knots. 7. Cover Must have durable bungee/elastic style strap. Requested Information Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement.

The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business), and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers.
