The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC) in Shiprock, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Steris Corporation to provide preventative maintenance services for the Steris Autoclaves, Washers, Endoscope Disinfectors, and Endodry Cabinets as required by the Biomedical Engineering Department. The period of performance will consist of a base year, plus four one-year option periods.

Base Year:

04/01/2026 to 03/31/2027 Option Year One:

04/01/2027 to 03/31/2028 Option Year Two:

04/01/2028 to 03/31/2029 Option Year Three:

04/01/2029 to 03/31/2030 Option Year Four: 04/01/2030 to 03/31/2031 The award will be a single source procurement awarded to Steris Corporation in accordance with RFO-FAR 6.103-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem that only one source is reasonably available based on licensing agreements and warranty coverage on specialized medical equipment.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than Steris Corporation may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Mr. Stephen Silversmith, Contract Specialist, at stephen.silversmith@ihs.gov by 10:00 AM MT on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
