Notice of Intent to negotiate a sole source award with Nihon Kohden America. The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Indian Medical Center located in Gallup, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a sole source, firm-fixed-price award with Nihon Kohden America, 15353 Barranca PKWY, Irvine CA 92618 for specialized supplies to be used with their Analgesia Units, Physiologic, Electrocardiography, Telemetric, Patient Bedside and Central Bedside Station Monitoring Equipment installed and established at the hospital.

The Period of Performance will be Date of Award for 12 months and 4 option years, if exercised. The award will be a sole source procurement pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii). This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers.

Any potential sources other than Nihon Kohden America may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Stefanie Atene@ihs.gov by 10:00 AM MT on March 27, 2025. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
