Notice of Intent to Award – Multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements In accordance with FAR 13.303-2(c)(1), the Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility, Chinle, AZ, intends to place multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with four (4) vendors: Oticon, Inc. WS Audiology Usa, Inc. Gn Hearing Care Corporation dba Resound Sonova Usa Inc. Listed vendors have active Inter-Agency Agreement and will provide hearing aids, accessories, and related repair services for patients, on an as-needed basis.

IAW FAR 17.502-2, the use of the proposed Inter-Agency Agreement under the Economy Act for this requirement is the best interest of the Government. Santiago Almaraz, Head of Contracting Activity, Indian Health Service, entered into agreement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, under the authority of the Economy Act (31 U.S.C. 1535), to acquire Hearing Aids, accessories, and related repair services.

The anticipated period of performance is a base period of one year from the date of award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.

No further awards will be made unless the need for Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility changes. The prospective, multiple-award BPAs as identified in this notice are sufficient at this time. Any other sources that believe they are capable of fulfilling the government requirements as described are encouraged to submit their capability statement, price lists, and catalogs to the Point of Contact listed below via email only and no later than 03/18/2025 at 5:00pm MST.

In the event additional BPAs are deemed to be in the best interest of the government, capable vendors may be contacted. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent.
