Notice of Intent - KHC - various supplies for Ortho Vision Swift Analyzer

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Kayenta Health Center (KHC), located in Kayenta, AZ 86033, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., UEI Number JG5JF2JQJ121, for service and supplies for two Ortho Vision Swift Blood banking analyzers. Various supplies are to be ordered on an as needed basis for performing typing, antibody screens, crossmatches, etc. on patient samples and units of blood received.

Period of Performance shall be for a duration of one year; 01/01/2025 – 12/31/2025. In accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. is uniquely qualified to provide the required services for the various requested supplies, to ensure direct patient safety care for providing various testing at the facility. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers.

Any potential sources other than Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Jerlyn Begay, Supervisory Contract Specialist, at jerlyn.begay@ihs.gov by 1:00pm EST on Tuesday 12/24/2024. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
