Notice of Intent to Sole Source - KHC - Air Handler Unit #2 Global Controller

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Kayenta Health Center (KHC) Kayenta, Arizona, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Climatec, LLC, UEI Number ETT3RZENFD63, for the install of a new global controller for the building management and control system air handler unit #2 as required by the Facilities Department. Award will be for a 120 days from the date of award.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), Climatec, LLC is uniquely qualified to provide the required services for the global controller retrofit install project to ensure the controller to air handler unit #2 is repaired, replaced, and properly operating at the KHC. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers.

Any potential sources other than Climatec, LLC may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Jerlyn Begay, Supervisory Contract Specialist, at jerlyn.begay@ihs.gov by 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
