Maintenance and Support for Label Thermal Printers

The Indian Health Service, Gallup Service Unit (GSU), located in Gallup Indian Medical Center, New Mexico 87301 intends to negotiate a sole source award with DataRay Inc. for Maintenance and Support for Label Printer services for remote areas within the Gallup area. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 811210 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Period of Performance is a Base plus 4 Option Years.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization).

DataRay Inc. currently provides equipment repair services to include routine preventative maintenance to accomplish the mission objective of providing adequate lab testing methods for direct patient care. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent.

Any potential sources other than DataRay Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic email by 12:00 PM MDT on September 17, 2024. Any other form of communication will not be considered. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
