Notice of Intent to Sole Source - KHC - Old Radiology Equipment Removal

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Kayenta Health Center (KHC) Kayenta, Arizona, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to GE Precision Healthcare, LLC, EIN Number JJURYE5M19G1, for removal and disassembly of GE/Fuji equipment such as x-ray tube, x-ray workstation, radiology patient table, wall bucky, old CR Cassettes and grids, etc. as required by the General Service Department. Award will be for a 120 days from the date of award.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), GE Precision Healthcare, LLC is uniquely qualified to provide the required services for the removal and disassembly of the GE/Fuji equipment, to ensure demolition of the old Kayenta Health Center facility requires old radiology equipment to be properly removed from the old facility. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers.

Any potential sources other than GE Precision Healthcare, LLC may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Jerlyn Begay, Supervisory Contract Specialist, at jerlyn.begay@ihs.gov by 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
