Intent to Sole Source: Install of Radio Communication System for Crownpoint Healthcare Facility Emergency Dept.

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a Sole Source firm-fixed-price award to Advanced Communications and Electronics, Inc., 2417 Baylor Drive, SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 to Furnish and Install a new radio communications system for the Crownpoint Healthcare Facility Emergency Department. The requirement will be Date of Award to 12/31/2024.

The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to Advanced Communications and Electronics, Inc. in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available based on urgency. Crownpoint Healthcare Facility requires to have the identified requirements in place in due to current inoperable radio communication system.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than Advanced Communications and Electronics Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Janice Martinez, Supervisory Contract Specialist, at Janice.Martinez@ihs.gov by 1:00 PM MT on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
