INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: VANGUARD RABIES VACCINE

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Navajo Area Office located in Window Rock, Arizona, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Zoetis, Inc., 10 Sylvan WAY, Parsippany, New Jersey 07054-3825 to deliver refrigerated VANGUARD Rabies vaccine and supplies are to Gallup Regional Supply Service Center, 2400 Fuhs Avenue, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to ZOETIS, INC in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT).

Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available which, in this case, Only one sources is capable of providing the supplies and services required at the level or quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers.

Any potential sources other than ZOETIS, INC may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Ms. Janice Martinez, Contract Specialist, at Janice.Martinez@ihs.gov by 5/8/2024 at 10:00am MST. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
