NOTICE OF INTENT to AWARD SOLE SOURCE to Navajo Communications Co., Inc. for Telecommunication and Internet Services for Crownpoint Healthcare Facility, IT Department. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes.

Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Crownpoint Service Unit IT Department intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii), for voice and data services that limit the availability to a sole source is that Navajo Communications Co., Inc. is the sole vendor for the requirement.

Telecommunication services through Navajo Communications as the sole provider for voice and data communication services to conduct daily business operations and in support of patient care and health care support for our remote location. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 517112 – Wireless Telecommunications Carriers.

The objective of this sole source award to Navajo Communications Co., Inc. is for the Telecommunication and Internet Services for Crownpoint Healthcare Facility IT Department. This notice of intent does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities.

The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
