Telecommunication and Internet Services THC

The Indian Health Service, Gallup Service Unit (GSU), located in Tohatchi, New Mexico 87325 intends to negotiate a sole source award with Navajo Communications Co. for telecommunication and internet services. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 517111 with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. Period of Performance is for 12 months beginning date of award.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization). Navajo Communication Co. provides telecommunication and internet services in order to quickly communicate methods of direct patient care.

This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any potential sources other than Navajo Communication Co. may submit a capability statement via electronic email by 8:00 AM MST on March 29, 2024. Any other form of communication will not be considered. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government.
