Notice of Intent to Sole Source – CSR Autoclave Preventative Maintenance

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Kayenta Health Center (KHC) Kayenta, AZ, intends to award a non-competitive firm fixed price award to Johnson’s Medical Inc., EIN Number LBGZU48E67P8, for Preventative Maintenance Services for the Primus Autoclave Medical Equipment Sanitizers required by the Kayenta Health Center located in Kayenta, AZ.

The Period of Performance for this request shall begin on the Date of Award through December 31, 2024. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), Johnson’s Medical Inc., is uniquely qualified to provide the required services for the Preventative Maintenance for the Primus Autoclave Medical Equipment, to ensure there is no interruption in services that could have a negative impact on direct patient care.

The Preventative Maintenance Services for the Primus Autoclave Medical Equipment will certify that the autoclave is functioning properly, as the autoclave sanitizes medical equipment and supplies daily. The services are vital to direct patient care and is necessary for the continuing accreditation with the Joint Commission. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers.

Any potential sources other than Johnson’s Medical Inc., may submit a capability statement via email to Amber Whitehair, Contract Specialist, Amber.Whitehair@ihs.gov. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
