Kayenta Service Unit - Notice of Intent - Laundry Services

Elite Laundry Company – Laundry Services – Kayenta Service Unit The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Kayenta Service Unit, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Elite Laundry Company for Laundry Services required by the Kayenta Health Center Housekeeping Department and the Inscription House Health Center Housekeeping Department, with a Period of Performance date of 08/01/2024 through 07/31/2025.

The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to Elite Laundry Company in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers.

Any potential sources other than Elite Laundry Company may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Ms. Amber Whitehair, Contract Specialist, at amber.whitehair@ihs.gov by 1:00pm EST on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
