JEOL Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) Equipment Repair and Maintenance

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), in support of the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD), awarded a contract to Jeol USA, Inc., located at 11 Dearborn Road, Peabody, Massachusetts 01960 on a sole source basis under 41 United States Code 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii) as Jeol USA, Inc is the sole factory authorized provider of services and sales in the United States and Canada for the transmission and scanning electron microscopes.

The contract provides comprehensive preventative maintenance and repair services for a transmission electron microscope and scanning electron microscope. The contract award includes a twelve month base period and four twelve month option periods.
