NOTICE TO CONTRACTOR This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HT941025Q2033 It is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03 effective 1/17/2025 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change 1/17/2025.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 812320. The size standard is 8 (millions of dollars). This is an unrestricted procurement, inviting full and open competition. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement is for Non personal Services.

Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Western Healthcare Operations Contracting Division requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following service: Requirement for laundry and dry-cleaning services provided for 35 Medical Group at Misawa Air Base, Japan in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and in a manner to meet generally accepted commercial practice or industry standards for cleanliness, safety, sanitation and serviceability.

Performance standards to meet the current editions of the following guidelines and should be used for reference in meeting generally accepted commercial practice and industry standards: AFI 44-108, Infection Control Program, Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines for Environmental Infection Control in Health-Care Facilities and The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council’s (HLAC) Accreditation Standards for processing Reusable Textiles for Use in Healthcare Facilities. Service Period of performance is base plus four option years and a 6-month extension.
