Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Main Operating Room (MOR) at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) performs approximately 80 Brainlab surgical navigation procedures a year. Their equipment interfaces with microscopes and all neuro and ortho-spine sets. Brainlab equipment needs an on-site rep to run the system for each case, needs troubleshooting periodically and requires one maintenance service every year which our in-house biomedical technicians cannot perform.

The request is to continue the service maintenance and on-site specialist support for the Brainlab equipment. Previous contract HT941024P0059 was sole sourced to Brainlab as well. Lovell Government Services, INC , UEI MNH3STM1FTS6, is a Small Business that supports Brainlab requirements. The Government intend to issue a sole source award to Lovell Government Services for this requirement.
