Notice of Intent to Sole Source: BD Auto-Notification System Services and Maintenance

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Southern Markets Contracting Division, intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Parata Systems, LLC to provide maintenance and support services for BD-manufactured equipment and systems applications for the Maxwell Ambulatory Health Care Center (MAHCC), Maxwell AFB (MAFB), Alabama under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Only one source reasonably available.

The applicable NAICS code is 811210, with a corresponding size standard of $34M.

BACKGROUND The MAHCC, located at MAFB, AL, is requesting an acquisition for technical support, labor, materials, transportation, and replacement parts to provide preventive maintenance, calibration, and all intervening service calls on the BD Auto-Notification System’s feature/services hardware and software at the MAHCC, MAFB, AL in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements, industry standards, all federal, state, and local regulations. SCOPE See attached Performance Work Statement.

This Notice of Intent to Sole Source does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses incurred associated with responding to this Notice.

A determination by the Government to continue with a sole source action, or to issue a competitive solicitation, will be made based on any responses received to this notice, and will be made solely at the Government’s discretion. Please respond with the following:
