This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items and 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
This enclosure is an addendum to FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items, which applies to this acquisition. Competitive quotes are being requested under Request for Quote (RFQ) Number HT940624R0009. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this acquisition is 312113, Ice Manufacturing and the size standard is 250 employees. This procurement is Set-Aside 100% for Small Business.
The Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) has a requirement for delivery 2 bins each of 500 pounds of Dry ice pellet ¾” per bin weekly for a 1-year base period of performance and four 1-year option periods. The estimated periods of performance are outlined below:
Base Period: 01 April 2024 through 31 March 2025 Option Period 1: 01 April 2025 through 31 March 2026 Option Period 2: 01 April 2026 through 31 March 2027 Option Period 3: 01 April 2027 through 31 March 2028 Option Period 4: 01 April 2028 through 31 March 2029 The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Southeastern Contracting Division (SEM-CD) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing supplies outlined in the Essential Characteristics.
