Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC), Physical Therapy, Fort Belvoir, VA has a requirement to procure The SOZO Digital Health Platform is a medical grade, FDA cleared device that utilizes the company’s proprietary bioimpedance spectroscopy technology to deliver a precise snapshot of fluid status and tissue composition in less than 30 seconds. Using ImpediMed’s BIS technology, SOZO measures 256 unique data points over a wide spectrum of frequencies from 3 kHz to 1000 kHz.
Results are available immediately online for easy data access and sharing across an entire Healthcare system. The government intends to procure this equipment on a sole source basis from ImpediMed Inc. because preliminary market research indicates that only ImpediMed Inc. can provide the capability required by the medical center. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal.
All capability statements received within five (5) calendar days after the date of publication of this notice will be reviewed by the Government and considered. Comments must be received no later than (NLT) at 4 pm EST by the response date of this notice. However, the Government's determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Should your firm desire to submit a capability statement, it should demonstrate the Offeror's experience and expertise to provide the services identified above within the required time frame without substantial duplication of cost to the Government. The statement shall include business size, ability to self-perform work, layers of subcontracting, and any other information indicating a legitimate ability to meet these specific requirements.
The statement should not exceed five (5) pages in length, and written inquiries may be addressed to claudia,a,febresmormontoy.ctr@health.mil. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A copy of the Justification and Approval will be posted no later than four (4) days after award.
