Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Power Redistribution

05/10/2024 The purpose of this notice is to publicly synopsize a requirement for the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Power Redistribution project based on the following scope: The project involves installation of two new power distribution switchboards, feeders, and branch circuit cables and busduct systems to power existing loads. Existing UPS systems and battery cabinets will be demolished and removed from service. New distribution switchboards will be powered from recently installed UPS systems.

Two new Power Distribution Units (PDU) will also be installed and fed from the new switchboards, with an option to install two additional PDU units in the Data Center. The work shall be performed by an experienced electrical contractor with the expertise to perform the requirement. This effort shall be a 100% set aside for small business under NAICS code 238210 – Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The contract performance period shall be 600 calendar days.

Once notice to proceed is issued, the first 30 days is offsite performance. This time is set aside for the preparation of submittals, Government review of submittals and ordering materials and equipment. The approximate cost of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.00 The work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency facilities at 3838 Vogel Rd in Arnold, MO. The Request for Proposals will be posted on or about June 10, 2024.
