Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command has a requirement for Winter Mobility Course of Instruction.

The Government is contemplating a sole source award to Snowbird Resort LLC (Cage code: 7DR15) for specific Winter Mobility courses to include downhill, backcountry, cross-country, alpine touring-style skiing, land navigation, winter survival, cold weather medicine, medium duration winter camping of 5-7 days, and avalanche awareness and rescue training provided that the instructor has specific AIARE certifications, SOF experience and the location can accommodate specified training under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

Proposed contract action will be an order for the identified courses and not to exceed $100,000. Contract is planned to be awarded by 29 November 2024. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The sole source justification will be posted under this synopsis after award.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 713920, and the small business size standard is $9M. This synopsis shall not be construed as an RFP or an obligation on the part of the Government.
