Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command has a requirement for multiple equipment items: CR-4KR Solid State Media Cracker, 974-0000 EA 1 DB-4000 Destruction Device, 120V 970-0000 EA 1 HD-5T Degausser, 120V 954-0000 EA 1 The Government is contemplating a sole source award to Data Security Inc (Cage code: 0B8L1) for brand name products identified above, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

Proposed contract action will be an order for the identified items and quantities and not to exceed $250,000. Contract is planned to be awarded by 15 September 2024. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 8 – Required Sources of Supplies and Services. The sole source justification will be posted under this synopsis after award.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 334111, and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This synopsis shall not be construed as an RFP or an obligation on the part of the Government.
