Notice of Intent to Sole Source

Government intends to award a five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price contract to to SPECIAL PROJECTS OPERATIONS, INC (UEI EQDEW67SKYK5). Estimated ceiling for IDIQ is $1.25M. Naval Special Warfare (NSW) requires maintenance to be conducted on Special Operations Breaching Gear, Silent Entry Torch System (SETS).

These systems are intricate in design and must meet strict manufacturing specifications and contain critical components of breaching gear required by personnel involved in Breaching activities.

Contractor shall provide direct labor, supervision, transportation, and any other items and services (not identified herein to be Government-Furnished) necessary to aid in the maintenance actions associated with manufacturer dictated maintenance for fleet inventory of SETS to the contract scope shall allow for troubleshooting as well as replacement parts for Silent Entry Torch System (SETS) outside of manufacturer dictated maintenance periods based on failures associated with normal wear and tear.
