The 50th Contracting Squadron at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado requires renewing of a four air conditioning chiller. The 50th Contracting Squadron intends to make award to Trane Inc (CAGE: 60532), due to being identified by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center as being in the best interest for maintenance of the Air Force’s HVAC systems.

The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.

Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. Requests for documentation, additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response.

A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a single source procurement. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, materials, supervision, scheduling, and all other items or services necessary to perform the work as defined in the Statement of Work.

The Contractor shall restore critical components of B600 chillers: L02M22823 (2002), L04H03776 (2004), L04L05147 (2004) and L05K04501 (2005) to original operation condition, reliability, and life expectancy. Please see the attached Appendix A Technical Requirement.
