THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The purpose of this requirement is to:
Plan for the evolution of the current GEO Ground System to expand multi-mission support to the Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) and Space Weather (SWx) missions while sustaining the existing GOES system. Minimize the overall lifecycle cost of Sustainment, Operations, and Maintenance by identifying opportunities to streamline, simplify, and optimize the ground system using emerging technologies while ensuring extensibility, reliability, and continued IT Security policy compliance. Please see the attached RFI for more information. Amended on 10 December 2024 - The only change is to the due date. It has been extended to the January 24, 2025.
