This is notice for a justification for limiting sources in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(A) (An urgent and compelling need exists, and following the procedures would result in unacceptable delays) by the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations. This requirement is for critical program and operational contractor advisory and assistance support for the DHS Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Office of Health Security (OHS).
The CMO and OHS program requires these specialized and technical areas of expertise to support the ongoing activities related to border health, emergency medical services and workforce health and safety. These activities require coordination with other federal agencies and highly complex efforts to establish effective and efficient capabilities that are responsive to emerging border health and health security requirements.
The Contractor is needed to support the DHS with continued strategic and operational planning, medical and public health program management support, strategic and operational communications, data governance, and analysis and reporting. Please see the attached Justification for more details.
