Janitorial Services at the Canine Training Center (CTC)

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Security Operations (SO) intends to issue a solicitation potentially resulting in one Firm Fixed Price, Contract.

The intention of this potential future solicitation will be to obtain janitorial services to include but not limited to, maintain all floors, sweeping, dusting, mopping, dry buffing and spray buffing, vacuuming the carpeted areas, vacuum and clean interior floor mats, clean all interior glass to include doors, partitions, walls display cases, director boards, etc. clean all stairways, general spot cleaning dusting, cleaning non-operational restrooms and cleaning rooms, strip, scrub and seal and wax floors, clean and shampoo carpets.

The contractor shall replenish janitorial supplies as need. Janitorial service applies to all designated spaces including, but not limited to halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, common areas, test room areas and storage areas. The Contractor(s) shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, necessary to provide these services at the Canine Training Center. Full details will be provided in the Statement of Work (SOW), which will be posted with the formal solicitation.

It is anticipated that the potential contract will be for a period of one (1) base year, four (4) twelve (12) month option periods; for a potential total of 5 years. The magnitude of services for this potential contract is estimated at over $600,000 over a 5-year period. The primary North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to these requirements is 561720, Janitorial Services. The Small Business Size Standard is $22 Million. This Sources Sought announcement is open to small businesses.
