Description
As published on SAM.gov.
---THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY--- The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to repair the Enhanced Engine Monitor Display (EEMD), PN:
372-114-005, NSN: 6620-01-576-4308FX in support of the F-15C/D/E model aircraft. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. This service is to provide all the necessary parts and labor to repair the EEMD. Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services.
The contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor’s facility. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts. This will include providing obsolete parts resolution along with the necessary engineering support to investigate Deficiency Reports and Material Improvement Projects (MIPS).
The Enhanced Engine Monitor Display (EEMD) system P/N 372-114-005 is form/fit/functionally compatible at the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level, to previously delivered models P/N 372-038-003 (EMD) and P/N 372-114-003 (EEMD) for the F-15 E. The EEMD (P/N 372-114-005) has been redesigned to address known obsolescence of electrical components.
The Enhanced Engine Monitor Display (EEMD) system is a military-unique item that must be manufactured to the Boeing procurement specification PS68-870192 Rev B and Parker Hannifin documents 372-114E05 and TM4426-020 Rev B. The procurement specification contains extremely stringent design requirements and must meet exact form, fit, function, and interface requirements for effective F-15 mission accomplishment. The Government does not own or have access to the data for this item.
The Government has determined that this system is a non-commercial item. The EEMD was developed specifically for the F-15’s mission and operational requirements. The EEMD is expected to remain on the F-15 fleet for its remaining life cycle, currently scheduled for 2045. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. Please see the attachement for the survey.
