NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, CA has the intent to award a sole source contract for 2 (two) Previ Color automated gram staining systems in accordance with FAR 13.106(b), soliciting from a single source. The previ color gram staining system is an automated gram staining sytem that utilizes patnted spray technology to provide rapid, standardized results for most types of specimens while adding efficiency to the microbiology process.

It is published for informational purposes only and not as a request for competitive quotations. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement.

No responses to the notice of intent to sole source are anticipated, however, all quotations/responses received by the published active close date of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
