Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Sole Plates

AFTC/PZIA located at Arnold AFB, TN, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Jacobs Technology Inc. (CAGE: 7EBH0), to meet the Government's requirement to design, build, and install Sole Plates for three, 10,000 hp Squirrel Cage induction motors at Arnold AFB.

The Government also requires the installation of two, new Government-provided motors and gearbox couplings, and the re-install of one, existing motor and existing coupling at Arnold AFB, in accordance with (IAW) Attachment 1 - DRAFT Statement of Work, using authority at FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.

However, the Government will consider all responses received electronically by 12:00 CST, 26 July 2024. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
