WE&C Proposed Ordering Period Extension

This is an official synopsis/special notice of the 772d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron's (772 ESS) proposed contract action to execute a class Justification and Approval (J&A) with the intent to modify the 772d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron’s (772 ESS) existing Worldwide Engineering and Construction (WE&C), Multiple-Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contracts.

This modification will incorporate a 403 calendar day ordering period extension to the Third - One Year Option period for each of the 11 WE&C basic contracts.

If enacted, the ordering period extension will be from 28 February 2025 through 6 April 2026. Note, once the follow-on ID/IQ Comprehensive Construction & Engineering (C2E) contract is awarded, any in-process solicitations for WE&C will remain effective and can proceed to award, but the ordering period will end for new WE&C suitable requirements which will be procured under C2E.

At this time the 772 ESS asks for the review of attached Revised NOI and RFI dated 8 Nov 2024. If enacted, the ordering period extension would have been from 28 February 2025 through 27 February 2026. This is no longer the government's intent. Instead the government's intent is a 403 calendar day ordering period extension to the Third - One Year Option period for each of the WE&C basic contracts, as mentioned above.
