PROTECTED TACTICAL SATCOM - GLOBAL (PTS-G)

*RFI amendment: Best effort responses are accepted; 15 May 2024 due date remains the same. The Space Systems Command (SSC) Program Executive Office (PEO) for Military Communications & Position, Navigation, and Timing (MNPNT) is issuing this notice for the Protected Tactical SATCOM – Global (PTS-G) Program. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for market research purposes.

This RFI is intended to assess industry's technical maturity and help refine the specific technical requirements related to the PTS-G program.

This RFI is related to the RFI notice number: FA880725X000XPTSG, entitled, “Protected Tactical SATCOM – Global” by the SSC/MILSATCOM & PNT Directorate, issued on 27 March 2024. As such, the Government seeks responses from interested contractors that are capable of supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) effort launching and maintaining communications satellites that allow for greater maneuverability and smaller size than traditional Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) satellites.

The Government requests that responses to the RFI be emailed to the point of contacts listed below and saved the file document using the following format: “[CompanyName]_PTSG_RFI_2_Response_[dd.mm.yy]”. All information received in response to this announcement that is marked “PROPRIETARY” will be handled accordingly. The Government shall not be held liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information that is not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations.

NOTE: Due to document markings, please self-validate that your company is a DoD Contractor as part of the access request. As part of your self-validation include a contract number awarded to your company. The Government intends to hold an Industry Day mid June 2024. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the potential responders to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this RFI and for all future potential RFI(s).
