Sources Sought C-5 Nose Landing Gear Door Gearboxes

This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the C-5 Nose Landing Gear (NLG) Door Gearboxes for use on United States Air Force (USAF) aircraft to meet qualification requirements for the overhaul of C-5 Nose Landing Gear Door Gearboxes:

1680-01-161-7430UC/PN: 182750-1, NSN:1680-01-159-9591UC/PN:177380-2, NSN:1680-01-159-9590 UC/PN:177370-2 for USAF aircrafts. This overhaul effort will utilize a Requirements Type Contract. Contract period of performance will be eight (8) years. It will consist of a one (1) year basic period and four (4) one (1) year ordering periods with three (1) one-year options. The projected quantities will be an aggregate total of all NSNs, the basic year is 16 and a range from 13-18 for the following ordering periods.
