This is a notice of intent not a request for competitive proposals. The Government does not own any technical data in support of this requirement. This acquisition will be Sole Source to AstroNova, Inc. (CAGE 54318). This notice of intent is for a Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract for the repair of the Data Link Printer (DLP) for the C-5 Aircraft, NSN: 7025-01-490-0096UC, P/N 8055515-4501. This contract will consist of a Basic Ordering Period (12 months) and two (2) 12-month Ordering Periods.

AstroNova, Inc. (CAGE 54318), is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to repair this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment.

The following information applies: The proposed contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.

If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, the Technical Director of Contracting has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Technical Director of Contracting is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.

When requested, the Technical Director of Contracting will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Technical Director of Contracting does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals in the source selection process.
