Montavista Software Licenses and Maintenance Support

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division Contracting Branch, (AFLCMC/HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio, hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 11.105(a) and 13.106-1(b)(1), soliciting from a single source to satisfy agency requirements.

This is a brand name only requirement for MontaVista Linux 6, the embedded system development platform used to develop, build and maintain components of software. This product includes the operation system and integrated development tool chain for the specific hardware which was used to develop the original software. Vendor maintenance supports is also required for product technical support.

AFLCMC/HNCK intends to award a sole source purchase order to aquire MontaVista Software License and Maintenance Support from SHI International Corporation, 290 Davidson Ave #101, Somerset, NJ 08873 Cage Code: 1HTF0, SHI is the only authorized reseller/distributer. The Government intends to award by October 2024. Proposals for the required items are NOT being requested through this notice. A determination for other than full and open competition has been approved for this acquisition.
