Description
As published on SAM.gov.
The Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) provides medical care throughout a wide range of environments including the various roles of care in the military theater. Military personnel are often exposed to high-stress environments and extreme physical exertion which could cause medical emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and need immediate and continuous medical intervention. Automated external defibrillators are necessary equipment to provide life-saving treatment during medical emergencies.
This solution will enhance the United States Air Force’s (USAF) ability to ensure reliable and continuous defibrillation for patients experiencing medical emergencies in extreme austere environments.
