This Justification and Approval (J&A) supports a new contract award for L3Harris Communications Support (HCS) Services to support the Air Force Security Forces Center's (AFSFC) Unit Type Codes (UTCs). The contract was awarded as a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract using commercial procedures in accordance with FAR 12.207 and FAR 16.103(d).

The contract structure includes a base period of one year from 30 September 2024 to 29 September 2025, with two 12-month option periods, potentially extending the contract through 29 September 2027. This J&A covers the base period and all option periods. The contractor will provide all necessary management, supervision, personnel, labor, materials, diagnostic equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient, effective, and satisfactory operation, maintenance, and repair of L3Harris communications equipment and systems.
