USAFA Cryomagnet Solicitation

The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) has a requirement to purchase a dewar and cryomagnet system.

SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATIONS: At a minimum, the Vendor must be able to supply a dewar and cryomagnet with the following characteristics: reaches a temperature of 1.5 K or less superconducting solenoid magnet with a field of at least 5 T magnet has bore 45 mm or larger magnetic field homogeneity of less than ±0.5% in central region magnet power supply included, at least 60 A magnet quench protection PID autotuning temperature controller He gas condensate recirculation system sample positioner probe with rotational and linear motion See attachments for Solicitation documentation.
